Accreditation

As part of ensuring this, we accredit individuals and organisations in the use of our programs and tools. Descriptions of our current accreditation courses are given below. These are high quality courses which will be tailored to your specific working environment.

All participants receive a comprehensive set of course materials. We issue certificates of accreditation to successful participants.

If you have engaged someone who is using one of our products, ask to see their accreditation certificate to ensure you are getting the high standard and the value for money that you require. If they do not have a certificate, then they are not accredited by us and the standard is not guaranteed.

Financial Management Courses

Community Level Money Story ® Presenter *
Who For - Targets the requirements of indigenous people especially those living in remote communities.
- Targets on ground local people in microfinance and development programs.
Aims/Structure - A very flexible course open to all who need foundation level presentation skills. Emphasis is placed on informal type presentations to local organisations and presenting in a culturally appropriate way.
Duration - Total time 2 days.
Entry Qualifications – None.
Reaccreditation – Not required.
* Must be mentored and supported by qualified Money Story ® presenter.

FIGARS ®/Money Story ® Presenter
Who For - Staff of organisations who are using our financial management tools.
Aims/Structure - Designed to ensure that presenters have a sound practical knowledge in the basics of standard financial reporting. Also, a sound practical knowledge of graphical, pictorial and other communication techniques. Ensure a high professional standard.
Duration - Total time 4 days face to face + 1 practical presentation. (Can be a single block or spread over time).
Entry Qualifications – None. However recognition of prior learning allowable on some units of the course.
Reaccreditation – Accreditation lasts for 1 year. Required to attend a yearly refresher/update 1 day workshop.

FIGARS ®Money Story ® Presenter Trainer
Who For - Staff of organisations who are using our financial management tools and wish to train their own staff to be presenters.
Aims/Structure - Designed to ensure that organisations can train up their own presenters to a consistently high standard. This is a higher level course and participants will need to demonstrate in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Duration - Total time 3 to 4 days face to face. (Can be a single block or spread over time).
Entry Qualifications – Certificate IV Assessment And Workplace Training, except in exceptional circumstances. Recognition of prior learning allowable on some units of the course.
Reaccreditation – Accreditation lasts for 1 year. Required to attend a yearly refresher/update 1 day workshop.


Vision Driven Model - Accreditation

Vision Driven Model ® - Foundation
Who For – For all levels of staff in indigenous, development and mainstream organisations.
Aims/Structure - Designed to give participants foundational knowledge of our Vision Driven Model ®. This involves a clear understanding of the key drivers of their business, limits to growth and how these complex factors inter-relate. The diagnostic aspect of the tool is highlighted.
Duration - Total time 2 days face to face
Entry Qualifications – None.
Reaccreditation – None.

Governance Guidance Road ®
This is a graphical tool designed to help boards, committees, councils and senior employees keep their organisation on the governance track by visual monitoring against guiding principles, key financial indicators and key elements of the business plan.
Who For – For all levels of staff in both indigenous and development organisations.
Aims/Structure – How to effectively integrate the use of this tool into your organisational practice.
Duration - Total time 1 day face to face.
Entry Qualifications – None.

Interview And Staff Assessment Tool
This is a graphical tool designed to empower boards, committees, councils and senior employees interview job candidates. Interviewing is both a critical and difficult area for most organisations. Also this tool helps empower indigenous or local boards, committees and councils to assess their senior staff.
Who For – For all levels of staff in both indigenous and development organisations.
Aims/Structure – How to effectively integrate the use of this tool into your organisational practice.
Duration - Total time 1 day face to face.
